Technical Talks between Iraq, South Africa Start

Technical meetings between Iraq and South Africa started at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

During the meetings, the two sides discussed topics concerning joint experiences on disarming WMD and procedures of ending such dossiers.

The two sides exchanged points of view on similarity and difference between South Africa and Iraq’s experiences.

The South African delegation consisted of a number of experts in the field of nuclear, chemical, biological weapons and missiles headed by Dr. Aziz Bahad, Deputy Foreign Minister whereas the Iraqi side consisted of Dr. Amer Al-Sa’di, Dr. Ja’far Dhia Ja’far, Gen. Husam Mohammad Ameen and a number of specialists in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and theA NMD.

The meetings lasted for three and a half hours.
