Q - What's your reaction to the Iraqi proposal (made yesterday by Naji Sabri on the BBC) to invite British inspectors to check out the state of Iraqi armament as regards weapons of mass destruction?
Let's be quite clear about matters. There must be no diversion. The only thing that counts and that we're asking is for Iraq to comply with Security Council resolutions.
The international inspectors must be able to return to Iraq unconditionally and immediately and do their job there without hindrance.
